Hiring a Horse and Carriage in Sydney

Whether you are planning a fairytale wedding or something a little more traditional, arriving at your ceremony on a horse-drawn carriage is a staple favourite and, for most of us, a once in a lifetime experience.

Sydney is already a magical place, blessed with beautiful clear blue skies and its infamous city-meets-sea landscape which offers a plethora of awe-inspiring backdrops to choose from for your big day. It can be quite a surreal moment passing world renowned landmarks on a horse and carriage which, in itself, can take the majestic experience of your special day to a whole new level.

Not being the type of transport you organise everyday, we’ve compiled a list of established horse and carriage suppliers in Sydney to help get you started.

Both carriages are drawn by two white horses and coachmen will be on hand to assist with your special day.

Located at Freemans Reach NSW, and servicing Hawkesbury to Sydney, Australian Horse Drawn Services offer a little taste of history with their carriages. Choose from a truly traditional Landau carriage or their Wagonette carriage – an original Amish buggy from Pennsylvania. Both carriages can be pulled by one or two Clydesdale horses; the gentle giants known for their amazing strength and graceful demeanour.

Imperial Coaches
