Q How is My Wedding Concierge different to other wedding directories?
A My Wedding Concierge is a lot more than just a regular business directory where people can browse businesses 1 at a time.
We have created a unique search engine which allows customers to zero in on the types of businesses they’d like to contact, and then send a detailed enquiry out to them.
This means you’ll be receiving “qualified leads” through the website because the customer is already very interested in making contact with you, and they’re not just “window shopping”.

Q What is a qualified lead?
A A qualified lead is when a customer is intending to make a purchase, and has supplied enough information for you to respond with an accurate quote. Qualified leads are far more likely to result in a sale.

Q Are My Wedding Concierge customers only interested in getting the cheapest possible price?
A No. Many brides are focussed on getting everything perfect for their wedding day, and quality is typically the main concern. Others may be interested in good customer service, and value for money.

Q Are customers obligated to accept a quote that I send in response to their enquiry?
A No. When you receive an enquiry through the website, there’s a good chance that a similar business has also received the same enquiry. This means that the customer is free to accept whichever quote they like the best.

Q How can I give my quote the best chance of being accepted?
A The main goal is to try and impress the customer as much as you can… It’s a good idea to try and promote some kind of unique selling point such as:
-    Premium quality products / services.
-    Complimentary services or value adding.
-    Special offers, bulk purchase discounts, or other savings.
These are just some ideas of how you might promote your business when you receive an enquiry.

However whenever you receive ANY enquiry from a customer via the website you should always:
-    Respond as quickly as possible to show you are responsive and interested.
-    Include some examples of previous work to get the customer excited about making a purchase.
-    Make your quote competitive to ensure that the customer is getting good value for money.

Q How can I make my profile stand out?
A Include as much relevant information about your product / service, and any unique selling points you may have to offer. Upload good quality photographs onto your profile which showcase your business in the best way possible. Make sure to take advantage of your entire photo allocation, so that you profile looks complete.
Additionally, if you have a Facebook page, Twitter account, or website, be sure to include these in your profile so that customers can connect with you in other ways.

Q I just created my listing, but it's not coming up in search results?
A All new listings are individually reviewed to ensure they meet our standards for quality content within the directory. Once your listing is approved it will immediately appear in relevant search results. The approval process usually takes about 24-48 hours.

Q Once I’m registered, how many enquiries can I receive from customers?
A There are no limits to the number of enquiries you can receive. As soon as you’re registered your business will be included in any relevant searches that customers perform on the website.

Q Why can’t businesses pay to advertise on other pages of the website?
A My Wedding Concierge is the most simple, clean, easy to use website for organising a wedding in Australia and it didn’t turn out that way by accident... It’s been deliberately designed that way from the start, because so many others are totally cluttered with advertising which only serves to distract customers, and make using the site more difficult.

In the end all businesses featured on My Wedding Concierge will benefit from this decision, as banner ads won’t distract customers from your business. It’ll mean that customers will be more likely to return and connect with your business again because using the website is simply a more enjoyable experience.

Q I want to list my business in more than 1 category, is this possible?
A In the event that a business is relevant to more than 1 main category (for example both “Venues” and “Catering”), then you are welcome to purchase a second subscription in order to have an additional listing within a second main category.

In order to achieve this, simply go to the Business Signup page and register your details in exactly the same manner. Follow this process for each unique business listing that you want to create.
